Rebuild, Overcome, and Rise (ROAR) Center at University of MD, Baltimore
Provides a range of Free Legal Services for victims of crime. You don’t need to have reported the crime to the police to get help.
El personal de abogados, asistentes legales, trabajadores sociales y un gerente de enfermería de salud comunitaria de ROAR trabajan en colaboración para ayudar a los sobrevivientes de delitos y violencia en la ciudad de Baltimore a lograr la "justicia", la autonomía y la autoestima, según lo definido y dirigido por ellos. ROAR brinda servicios legales, de trabajo social, asesoramiento/terapia y administración de atención de enfermería gratuitos.. Un sobreviviente de un delito no tiene que haber presentado un informe policial para recibir servicios de ROAR. ROAR no tiene restricciones de estatus migratorio y atiende a personas que ganan menos de $ 70,000 por año más $ 5k adicionales por año por cada dependiente. Ayudamos a las personas que no tienen identificación, que tienen antecedentes penales y aquellos para quienes una orden judicial puede estar pendiente.

Out For Justice Inc. (OFJ) was founded in 2006 by formerly incarcerated individuals who were ready and willing to work but repeatedly denied employment due to their criminal record. With the support of friends and members of their families, OFJ strives to end employment barriers and all perpetual punishment that adversely affects ex-offenders. OFJ’s vision is to engage and empower individuals who have been directly and/or indirectly impacted by the criminal justice system.
