Comprehensive Addiction and Pregnancy (CAP) at Johns Hopkins Bayview provides coordinated care for pregnant and recently postpartum individuals with substance use disorders, including addiction treatment, individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, case management, and treatment with methadone or buprenorphine when appropriate. The program also coordinates obstetric and pediatric care and emphasizes trauma-informed treatment, healthy parenting and relationships, psychiatric stability, and positive parent-child development.
