Green Futures Academy
Green Futures Academy, a workforce development program of the Black Landscapers Alliance, designed to prepare Baltimore residents for high-demand careers in landscaping, green infrastructure, and the broader environmental sector. Our next cohort begins January 15, 2025, and we are currently recruiting both program participants and employer partners. The Green Futures Academy provides: A full-time, 8-week training program Hands-on instruction in landscaping, equipment operation, and green infrastructure Industry-recognized certifications Job-readiness coaching and direct hiring pathways Supportive services to reduce barriers to employment Classes run Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and attendance is required.

Housing for men
Transitional housing services, case management. Provides referral services, health and mental health services and job training. May remain in the housing for up to 2 years. Men only. No sex offenders. Rent is 30% of income or waived if unemployed. Call for intake.

STEP Program
Supported employment program for individuals with psychiatric disabilities in partnership with the Community College of Baltimore County. Includes Human Services Training (14 weeks), counseling, advocacy, documentation, human relations, case management, supported employment and psychiatric rehabilitation.
